Welcome Wildcat Family!

I am so honored to have the privilege of serving the Wildcat Family in my role as assistant principal at Double Churches Elementary School.

 

Prior to serving as an assistant principal, I was an academic coach for seven years, and a classroom teacher for 16 years in both the private and public sectors, in multiple states and all elementary grades.  As a high school senior, I knew without a doubt that I wanted to be an educator. I love to learn and to encourage others to learn as well.

What do I love about my job? That’s an easy answer. My happy place is with the students! Our students bring a smile to my face every day! I love their hugs, laughter, and seeing their confidence soar when they are achieving and making new discoveries in their learning. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with our family, traveling, reading, biking and serving alongside my husband at church.
